Vision Research Supported by the Knights Templar and Order of the Eastern Star

The focus of several organizations fund-raising efforts, such as the Knights Templar and the Order of the Eastern Star, is for vision medical research. The Knights Templar Eye Foundation is supported by both the Knights Templar and the Order of the Eastern Star. The Knights Templar Eye Foundation is moving from primarily focusing on the treatment of children to treating cataracts in adults.

The Knights Templar Eye Foundation funds research to help find cures or support prevention of eye diseases such as:

• Amblyopia or Lazy Eye
• Retinal Dystrophies (blindness)
• Retinoblastoma (cancer of the retina)
• Congenital Cataracts & Glaucoma
