The Order of the Amaranth in Washington County
The Order of the Amaranth is a spiritual order open to both men and women. A Mason in good standing or the female relatives of a Mason in good standing are eligible to apply.
The Order of the Amaranth strives for personal and spiritual growth within its members. The local chapter of the Order of the Amaranth is led by Sherian Luttrell.
The Order of the Amaranth raises funds for its main charity, the Amaranth Diabetes Foundation, through a number of fundraisers and social events. The Amaranth organization has raised money for the past eight years to directly benefit the American Diabetes Association. Overall the organization has donated approximately $10.5 million dollars, with $463, 798.09 being from the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
