The Grand Encampment of the Knights Templar and the Organizations they Support
The Knights Templar trace their founding to 11th century Holy Wars. The Templars are a branch of the Free and Accepted Masons and part of the York Rite. This Christian-based organization put their charitable efforts towards supporting youth organizations, such as the DeMolays and raising funds for education and medical research.
The Templars primary focus of fundraising is to support the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, the Knights Templar Holy Land Pilgrimage and the Knights Templar Educational Foundation.
The local chapter of the Knight Templars at Masonic Lodge Washington #1 is led by Larry Wilton. Please visit the Grand Encampment of the Knights Templar for more information.
